How to get started with sourcing Email Outreach in Endorsed

Endorsed's Email Outreach feature allows you to connect with great candidates that you've found via Endorsed's Sourcing product.

Important: Endorsed uses Reply.io as the primary integration vendor for email outreach. As part of connecting your integration you will see Reply.io ask for permissions to access and send emails using your email account.

How to Use Outreach

  1. Navigating to the Outreach page

    1. Conduct your sourcing search in Endorsed and shortlist great candidates that fit your key requirements and ideal candidate profile

    2. Once you have candidates shortlisted, navigate to the "Shortlisted" candidates section

    3. Click the Outreach button to enter the Outreach experience

  2. Connecting your Email account to Endorsed's Outreach feature

    1. Click the Connect button on the outreach page to connect your email account to Endorsed at the top right
      ⚠️ Important: Email Outreach only works with work emails, and not personal Gmail accounts.

    2. Click Connect Email Account

    3. In the popup page, click Connect via Google

    4. Follow the instructions to connect your Gmail account to Email Outreach.
      ⚠️ Important: Make sure to enable all permissions. Without this, Email Outreach will not work. Make sure to click to allow permissions for Reply to send emails

  3. Starting your Campaign Sequence

    1. Create and edit your email sequence by editing the content or adding sequence steps. Once done, click Next: Select Leads

    2. Select leads via the checkboxes next to the candidates. Then click Retrieve Emails. Then Add Eligible to add individuals to the campaignt

    3. Then click Start Campaign to begin the email sequence! Happy hiring!


Email Deliverability Disclaimer

Once connected, Reply (our integrated 3rd party email vendor) will send emails from your account to an email similar to [email protected]. These emails will:

  • Generally be sent weekly if there are no issues in deliverability / DNS

  • Once per day if issues are detected

These emails are expected and used to monitor and ensure deliverability of emails from your account.


Troubleshooting

If emails are not sending try the following to disconnect and reconnect your email account:

  1. Go to any outreach page in Endorsed

  2. Disconnect your email from within Endorsed

    1. Click the account button with your email

    2. Click the Disconnect button

    3. Refresh the page in Endorsed and you should see your account is no longer connected

  3. Disconnect Reply (Endorsed's 3rd party email service) from your Google Account

    1. Search by name for Reply and click the > icon

    2. Click Delete all connections you have with Reply

    3. Click Confirm

  4. Go back to the outreach page and refresh the page. Then, go through the overarching step 2 from the How to Use Outreach section (not Troubleshooting) to reconnect your email account with Endorsed
