Getting Started
To start using Endorsed with your Greenhouse ATS, you can take the following steps.
Sign up and create an Endorsed account, if you haven't already.
When prompted to choose an Organization Type, choose "Recruiting".
Click "Connect ATS Account" button to emerge. Occasionally the button will spend several seconds in a "Loading..." state.
When the ATS Integration modal opens, find "Greenhouse". Be sure to not select "Greenhouse - Job Boards API", as that is the wrong API connection.
Grant access to Endorsed for Read/Write permissions.
Follow the instructions to generate an API key inside of your Greenhouse account, and paste that into the modal and click "Submit". Please double check that your key is from the "Harvest" API instead of the "Job Board" or "Candidate Ingestion" API. Please also double check that all of the proper read/write permissions are enabled, as that will also cause the connection to fail.
Click "Create API Key" inside of the Dev Center. Select "Harvest API", select "Unlisted Vendor" and type in "Endorsed" in the description.
After you click "Manage Permissions", you should be given an API key that is a set of unreadable characters. Store that API key on a notepad temporarily, and then click "I have stored the API Key".
Scroll down and select All on the permissions.
Go back to the Endorsed window, paste in your API key, and then click "Submit".
Wait for the API connection to complete. This can occasionally take up to a minute.
Your Greenhouse ATS should be successfully connected. If it is not and you are still having trouble, please reach out to Support or start a live chat by clicking the circular button at the bottom right of your window here.
You should be directed to your Jobs page, where you'll see an indicator that your Greenhouse is syncing to Endorsed. The speed of the initial sync can be different based on how many candidates and jobs in your system. If it takes longer than 24 hours, please reach out to Support for help.

Want more limited permissions?
If you want to limit permissions more for what Endorsed can access, below is the limited set of permissions required for Endorsed's basic features. For access for future features, this may require updating permissions in Greenhouse in the future.

View in ATS button not working / showing? If so, send us your Greenhouse silo. This can be found when you open the Greenhouse app, mouse over the ? icon in the top right corner, and get the Silo number. Send this to the Endorsed team and we'll get this set up ASAP. We are still working on making the setting of this field self service soon!
