Sync with Ashby

Initial Setup

To start using Endorsed with your Ashby ATS, you can take the following steps.

  1. Sign up and create an Endorsed account, if you haven't already.

  2. When prompted to choose an Organization Type, choose "Recruiting".

  3. Click "Connect ATS Account".

  4. When the ATS Integration modal opens, find "Ashby".
    ​

  5. Grant access to Endorsed for Read/Write permissions.
    ​

  6. Generate an API key inside of your Ashby account, and paste that into the modal and click "Submit". For creating an API key in Ashby, do the following:
    ​

    a) Click Admin at the top of the navigation bar. You will need administrator access of your Ashby ATS to proceed

    b) On the sidebar click Integrations --> API Keys


    ​

    c) Click + New at the top right
    ​
    ​

    d) Follow the steps on creating an API key. You can either select all permissions or choose the most restrictive permissions that Endorsed requires. See these permissions below as an example:

    e) Enter the API key and copy paste it in Endorsed
    ​

  7. Wait for the API connection to complete. This can occasionally take up to a minute.
    ​

  8. Your Ashby ATS should be successfully connected! If it is not and you are still having trouble, please reach out to Support or start a live chat by clicking the circular button at the bottom right of your window here.

  9. You should be directed to your Jobs page, where you'll see an indicator that your Ashby is syncing to Endorsed. The speed of the initial sync can be different based on how many candidates and jobs in your system. If it takes longer than 24 hours, please reach out to Support for help.
